The owner is renting two similar holiday cottages for all year use. The cottages are homelike furnished, and are also fit for winter habitation. The cottages can accomodate 4-6 people in comfort. The ground floor measures 45 sqm & includes a kitchen, bedroom and Finnish Sauna, as well as shower and toilet facilities. The first floor measures 26 sqm and has a balcony area and beds for up to four people

Kajaste Holiday Cottages are located in Northern Karelia (eastern Finland) 3 kms from the town of Nurmes. Cottages are built on naturally beautiful hill. There is a beautiful view over the Lake of Nurmes. The shore is about 100 metres (300 feet) away from cottages. Beach and dock is in common use for all of our customers. Nurmes town center is about 1 km away from Kajaste. We offer you a peaceful and clean environment with services and activities nearby. It's easy for you to come with your family - safe environment for children with beautiful nature around you. Our cottages are also ideal for those who love dancing and listening to Finnish pop music. Summer weekends we have popular events in the Kajaste dancehall where top Finnish artists entertaint people.

The person who is renting a cottage has to be at least 18 years old. Booking is confirmed once the customer has got confirmation from Kajaste Holiday Cottages either by email or by phone. Booking has to be paid at the latest when customer arrives at Kajaste or by the agreement with the owner. Kajaste Holiday Cottages may cancel a booking in the event of force majeure. In this case, the client is entitled to a full refund of the sum paid to Kajaste Holiday Cottages. The keys to the cottage will be handed over to the customer at the time of arrival. Customer has to inform the owner about the arrival time. Cottage will be at the client’s disposal from 14.00 (2 pm) on the day of arrival to 12.00 (12 noon) on the day of departure. The cottage rent covers the furnishings, cooking and eating utensils, heating, electricity, firewood, cooking and lighting. Mattresses, bed covers and pillows are also included in the rent. Free use of a rowing boat is also included in summertime rentals. Customer can bring their own linen or rent them from Kajaste Holiday Cottages. The client is responsible for cleaning the cottage during the rental period and on departure. The owner of the cottage is entitled to charge a €60 deposit for cleaning. Should the client fail to tidy the cottage appropriately on departure and the owner be obliged to clean it before the next client arrives, the owner will be entitled to charge the client a supplementary fee of at least €60 less any deposit for the cleaning work. The client will be required to pay the owner direct for any damage caused to the cottage or its contents during occupancy. The number of people using the cottage must not exceed the number of sleeping places stated in the description or the number agreed on during booking. Tents and caravans are not permitted on a holiday cottage plot without the owner’s permission. Pet-owners must notify their intent to bring animals to the destination when booking; pets may only be brought to cottage if this is agreed with the owner. Smoking is not allowed indoors. Any objections and complaints regarding the holiday accommodation must be made immediately once the cause for them arises and addressed to the owner.
